Novelty 2025: The diesel-electric, 70 t diesel shunting locomotives D.145 with the axle arrangement Bo`Bo` were intended to initiate the fundamental modernisation of the Italian state railway FS at the end of the 1970s and were put into service in 1982 as the first diesel locomotives with the unusual orange livery. The locomotives are suitable both for goods train service at a maximum speed of 100 km/h and for heavy shunting service at reduced speed.
