Volume 1: Modeling Mountains, part of the Scenery All-Stars DVD series from Kalmbach, is a how-to guide to building rugged mountain scenery by the MRVP (Model Railroader Video Plus) team. The action takes place on the N Scale Canadian Canyons project railroad and the scenery captures the grandeur of railroading through British Columbia. This video shows how to make rocky hillsides from foam and plaster, print your own roadways, plant a forest of trees, and add those finishing touches that make any layout more realistic. Chapters in Volume 1: Modeling Mountains include:

• Part 1: Flexible rocks
• Part 2: Casting and sculpting rocks
• Part 3: Painting and staining techniques
• Part 4: Printing pavement
• Part 5: Trees and terrain
• Part 6: Filling in the forest
• Part 7: Final road installation
