This Atlas HO Scale Code 83 Snap-Switch Manual Turnout features Code 83 nickel-silver rail with brown molded-plastic ties and a plastic frog. The turnout comes equipped with an attached manual, above-benchwork switch machine and includes joiners. The switch machine can be easily converted to electric remote control by replacing the manual switch machine with an Atlas Remote Switch Machine (sold separately). The 18′ radius turnout also includes a 1/3 18′ radius curve compensator track so for planning it equals one 18′ curved section. For track planning purposes, track geometry matches the Code 100 Snap-Track line in terms of standard curve radii and section lengths.
