More info

WalthersProto HO Scale Superliner I Diner is ready for your railroad's long-distance passenger trains. Superliner I cars are based on prototypes introduced in the late 1970s, inspired by the Hi-Level Cars of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad. Even though Amtrak added Superliner II cars in the 1990s, many of the original Superliner I cars remain in service today. They are essential cars for those modeling North American mainline during the last 45 years.

  • Factory printed numbers
  • Paint color-matched to Amtrak standards
  • Factory installed interior lighting on all models
  • Correct prototype details
  • Real metal finish simulates stainless steel
  • Window gasket details
  • Accurate, full upper and lower interior
  • Prototypical tinted window glazing
  • Factory-installed grab irons
  • Working diaphragms
  • Correct rebuilt airbag trucks with springs
  • Correct 36" RP-25 turned metal wheelsets
  • Proto MAX(TM) metal knuckle coupler
  • Minimum radius: 24"
