The typical station from the southwest of the USA impresses especially by its arcade-like porch, in which waiting travelers can protect themselves from the piercing sun. A small ramp allows the freight of the region and that of the passengers to be loaded into a corresponding rail car. This type of station fits especially well with modern diesel locomotives like the F7.
