The N Scale Architect Gold City Depot is based on the Virginia & Truckee Railroad (V&T) depot at Mound House, Nevada in 1881. Mound House is located between Virginia City and Carson City and served as a junction point with the narrow-gauge Carson & Colorado (C&C). The C&C was abandoned in 1905 and the last V&T train rolled through Mound House in 1938. This depot was later moved to Carson City where it reportedly still stands in the 2020s. This highly detailed kit features laser-cut micro-plywood components, an interior support system and illustrated step-by-step instructions. The completed model measures approximately 5-1/2 x 2-1/4 x 1-1/2′ 14 x 5.7 x 3.8cm. Gold City Depot is one of many N Scale products from The N Scale Architect.
