Form novelty of the BR 101 with a straight frame. The shunting locomotive was available in large numbers at the DR and factory railroads. The model has numerous separately applied parts. The zinc die-cast frame gives the model sufficient tractive power.

Logic of the light functions:
only in conjunction with the PIKO locomotive sound decoder #56451 !!!
F0 switches front white light (3 lamps on) and rear red light (2 lamps) [pictures above].

F7 switches the shunting lighting, 3 white lamps on each side are switched on [center pictures].

F8 switches the shunting lighting, activating the lower left lamp (seen in driving direction) on both sides [pictures below].
