The newly constructed PIKO model of the V 200.1 has all the optical changes to the predecessor series on the roof, housing and the bogies, in its basic construction the new model corresponds to the PIKO models of the V 200.0. With the free-standing, individually attached front handrails and finely engraved bogies, the model exactly reproduces the prototype. The heavy, die-cast zinc frame gives the models excellent running characteristics in conjunction with the selected motor with two large flywheel masses. The PIKO V 200.1 has a direction-dependent white/red light change and close coupler kinematics on both sides. The model has a PluX22 digital interface and easy retrofitting with sound is prepared. The cab lighting can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder.
