With the reproduction of the class 151 heavy freight locomotive in the traffic red paint scheme, PIKO again offers a typical DB AG locomotive of Era VI. The model has an exact design of the lamps, windows, buffers, housing shape, engine room view, roof equipment, etc. and also impresses with the finest paint and printing, the extremely delicate pantographs, digitally switchable cab and engine room lighting, and LED taillights that change with the direction of travel. The powerful five-pole PIKO motor with its large, precisely dimensioned flywheel masses gives the model excellent driving characteristics. The model has a PluX22 interface, has a factory-installed PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 with mfx capability, and is prepared for easy retrofitting with sound and the largest possible speaker. Brake hoses for retrofitting are included.
