Novelty 2022: Unlike the prototype, existing parts were not used for the PIKO models of the three-axle conversion cars, but an Expert model was completely redesigned. The scale cars exactly reproduce the original down to the smallest detail. Individually attached handle bars are just as much a part of the contemporary design as flush-fitting, crystal-clear windows and detailed interior furnishings. The loving design is also continued on the car floor. It impresses with free-standing lines, a filigree brake linkage as well as shunting handles and metal catch irons. Just like the prototype, the PIKO conversion cars are sold as close-coupled pairs and, thanks to the precisely controlled close-coupler kinematics, have a prototypical spacing between the cars. This new design is rounded out by the optionally available interior lighting. Together with the outstanding PIKO E 32 locomotive model (Item No. 51410), prototypical train formations can be formed that will be absolute eye-catchers on any layout."
