Novelty 2025: Design version of the Siemens “”Desiro“” diesel railcar as the class 642 of the ČD in Era VI. The model is factory-equipped with a PSD XP sound decoder in the sound version. The model bears the “fits mfx®” quality mark. A new “fits mfx®” quality mark was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test. These decoders and also the locomotives in which they are installed bear the “fits mfx®” quality mark, which certifies unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx®” logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
