The locomotive is already equipped with realistic, analog sound and switchable steam function. The sound function can be controlled by two enclosed switching magnets, #35268. In addition, the locomotive has ball bearing and chrome-plated wheel sets. Included with the set is a hand uncoupler. # 36039, is included. It is used for easy uncoupling of the cars.
