The WalthersProto HO Scale Wabash Streamlined Caboose is based on one of the most distinctive cabooses on the rails. The Wabash RRs Decatur, Ill. Shops and International Car Co. built 90 of these streamlined cupola steel cabooses between 1945 and 1955. In addition to the Wabash RR, the Ann Arbor RR, Detroit, Toledo & Ironton, and Norfolk & Western Ry. used the caboose on their freight trains for decades with many serving through the 1970s. Walthers is proud to be the first to accurately reproduce this historic waycar in HO Scale plastic.
