Locomotives require a factory-installed speaker and DCC decoder equipped with the special interface noted in the locomotive′s instruction guide. Bring the sounds of Sodor to life with a separate-sale Sound Module to install in your Large Scale Thomas & Friends(TM) engines. Solder pad installation and customer-supplied speaker required. Dual-mode DCC/DC operation. Sound package includes whistle or bell per prototype, chuff and cylinder blow down. Also controls customer-installed headlamp(s) if desired.
