This detailed Atlas Bombardier ALP-45DP dual-mode locomotive is based on prototypes that can operate as electrics in equipped territory or as diesel-electrics. The model features non-operating, positionable pantograph details, applied handrail, grab iron, antenna and other details. The ALP-45DP comes ready for DCC conversion and includes a 21-pin decoder socket and provisions for speakers. Other features include a five-pole skewed-armature motor with dual flywheels, directional LED lighting and Kadee(R) magnetic knuckle couplers.
