Novelty 2025: The Class 185 electric locomotive from Alpha Trains in Era VI as a contemporary model in N gauge. The striking proportions of the prototype have been perfectly transferred to the model to scale. The detailed engraved bogies, individually attached sandboxes, free-standing handles and filigree pantographs are evidence of modern toolmaking and outstanding production techniques. The powerful central motor with its two finely balanced flywheels ensures excellent running characteristics and high traction performance, which is further enhanced by two traction tyres arranged diagonally on the central axles. The model comes ex works with maintenance-free LED lighting with direction-dependent light change, as well as a modern Next18 interface for easy installation of a digital decoder, which enables even more prototypical operation on the model railway layout.
