Novelty 2023: Print version of the class 140 in the DB AG version in Epche V. The model has digitally switchable cab lighting installed as standard. The five-pole motor ensures excellent running characteristics with two large flywheel masses and current collection via eight wheels. To ensure high tractive effort, the PIKO model has two traction tyres on the inside running axles of both bogies in diagonal arrangement to each other, in addition to the zinc die-cast frame. The model has a PluX22 interface, white/red light change and close coupling kinematics. The PIKO E 40 is prepared for retrofitting with sound decoder and large loudspeaker.
