This ready-to-run N Scale 50′ Double-Door Boxcar No Roofwalk from Micro-Trains(R) is based on cars built beginning from the 1940s into the 1960s which had their roofwalks removed after 1963 and into the 1980s. They were used into the early 2000s. Double-door boxcars allowed easier access during loading with forklifts. Models include free-rolling Delrin(R) trucks with contoured axles, truck-mounted Magne-Matic(R) couplers and diecast metal underframes or interior weights. Cars also include thin-profile foot stirrups, brake wheels and fine decoration.
