Developed to meet the needs of the US Marine Corps for a heavy truck with a tighter turning radius, the Logistics Vehicle System (LVS) was introduced in 2005, and upgraded in 2009 as the Logistics Vehicle System Replacement (LVSR). Each vhecile consists of two parts the Front Power Unit (FPU), which includes the cab, 2-axle chassis and engine compartment, and the Rear Body Unit (RBU). This resin kit is designed for use with 729-87251 Front Power Unit, sold separately.
