The Atlas Master N Scale PS-2 4427 3-Bay Covered Hopper is based on a widely used car design originally built during the 1960s and 1970s. Some are still in service in the 2020s even as they hit the 50-year limit. They′re perfect for handling grain, mineral and DDG traffic moving to elevators, feed mills, flour mills, ethanol plants and salt loaders. The models are highly detailed and feature accurate paint and lettering, an authentic 4-3-4 rib pattern, hopper gate details and correct trough-style hatch with a thin roofwalk. Cars feature smooth-rolling trucks and AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers. This model features a detailed, injection-molded body, fine decoration and free-rolling trucks with knuckle couplers.
