Atlas Master 53′ Rebuilt Well Car is based on cars rebuilt by lengthening 48′ all-purpose well cars which were rendered surplus when trailer and container lengths jumped to 53′ in the 1990s. The cars feature a die cast metal body, fine scale details including train line air brake hoses, etched-metal walkways and applied separate grab irons. These 53′ well cars ride on metal wheels and come equipped with body-mounted magnetic knuckle couplers. They′re perfect for adding variety to your late-2000s and later intermodal trains.
