This Kato GE ES44AC is based on units in service from coast to coast since the 2003. This standard DC locomotive features a five-pole motor with dual flywheels, directional LED headlights, highly detailed body, wheel profiles for operation on Code 55 and larger rail, great decoration and Kato knuckle couplers. It can be converted to DCC operation by changing out the lighting board with a DCC decoder of your choice (sold separately). The GE ES44AC will be at home on the head end of your railroad′s 2000s and later freight consists.
