Based on full-width body road diesels, this Bowser Executive Line GMD SD40 is a model of a 3,000 horsepower locomotive built in GMDD in London, Ontario between 1966 and 1971. Still operated by secondary owners in the U.S. and Canada, these long-lived diesels have been used across the continent in all kinds of service. This finely detailed model features railroad-specific and era-specific body details, accurate decoration, directional lighting, a can motor with flywheels, nickel-silver wheels with RP25 flanges and knuckle couplers.
