Throughout the 1970s, the Paducah shops of the Illinois Central rebuilt worn out EMD GP7 and GP9 locomotives into the GP-10. These models feature a smooth-powerful drive, prototype-specific details, Kadee(R) couplers,laser-sharp lettering and etched metal details. Each comes equipped with an ESU Loksound decoder.
