This ready-to-run N Scale 40′ Single-Door Boxcar No Roofwalk from Micro-Trains(R) is based on cars built beginning in the 1940s which had their roofwalks removed beginning in the 1960s. Cars modernized for safety retained their high-mount brakewheel and in this case their ladders and many operated into the early 1980s. This boxcar features free-rolling Delrin(R) trucks with contoured axles, truck-mounted Magne-Matic(R) couplers and diecast metal underframes or interior weights. Cars also include thin-profile foot stirrups, brake wheels and fine decoration. This 40′ Single-Door without Roofwalk is one of many Micro-Trains N Scale freight cars.
