A must-have for many modern HO Scale eastern U.S. Amtrak trains, the ready-to-run Kato Viewliner II Baggage-Dormitory car is based on the cars built to replace aging Heritage Fleet cars on many Amtrak runs. Used for passenger luggage and crew sleeping space, these cars are fixtures between the locomotives and the first Viewliner car. This car, based on CAF-built prototypes, features interior seats, appropriate trucks, an exterior finish that matches other Kato cars and magnetic knuckle couplers. Kato Viewliner II cars also have provisions to add interior lights, sold separately. This Viewliner is part of the line of Kato HO Scale Amtrak locos and passenger cars.
