With the BR 132/232, PIKO offers another highly detailed model of a DR classic. The PIKO model convinces with the successful mold construction and the faithful implementation of all relevant details of the respective prototype. The PIKO models of the 132 series of the DR or 232 series of the Deutsche Bahn AG are characterized, among other things, by the finest painting and printing, free-standing handle bars, a zinc die-cast frame and a powerful five-pole motor, which in combination with two balanced flywheel masses guarantees balanced running characteristics. Lighting is provided by LEDs. The cab lighting and the tail light can be switched digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The model has two traction tires that sit in a diagonal arrangement on the inner axles of the two bogies. The current is drawn from all wheels. The model is supplied with a PluX22 interface, a sound retrofit with the largest possible speaker is prepared.
