Novelty 2024: The BR 193 Vectron in the Unser Hansi design from ecco-rail and akiem in Era VI. With the Vectron, PIKO delivers a high-precision manufactured model that has numerous extras based on a solid die-cast zinc frame and is equipped with proven PIKO standards. The tried and tested PIKO motor with two large flywheel masses ensures excellent running characteristics. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven via all four axles, is boosted by two traction tyres that are positioned diagonally to each other on the inside axles of both bogies. The headlights and marker lights are illuminated by LEDs whose red or white colour changes with the direction of travel. The elegant external appearance of this model includes a precisely reproduced technical roof landscape and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles. The model has a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker to control the digital and sound functions.
