Novelty 2024: The class 101 electric locomotive in the attractive Ecophant design from DB AG in Era VI. PIKO has perfectly captured the exterior design of the three-phase locomotive in the 1:160 scale version of the class 101. Details such as the single-arm pantographs of type DSA 350 have been delicately reproduced. The sharply engraved bogies behind the low aprons round off the visual impression of the locomotive perfectly. A powerful mid-mounted motor provides propulsion in the model. Two brass flywheel masses on the motor shaft provide excellent synchronization. The locomotive also has two diagonally arranged wheels with traction tires for good traction. Thanks to the modern Next18 interface, a digital decoder can be retrofitted in no time at all. In addition to the headlights in LED technology, the model also has digitally switchable cab lighting.
