Novelty 2023: Form variant of the class E 94 in the version as class 254 of the DR in Era IV. From 1970 onwards, the class E 94 locomotives were listed by the DR under the number 254. In the course of the following years, some changes were made to the locomotives. They received new pantographs of the type RBS 58 and the bogies were painted red. These and other special features are also reflected in the PIKO model.The sound version is equipped ex works with a PIKO sound decoder and matching loudspeaker.

The new PIKO model of the class 254 reproduces the operating condition of the early 1980s. Distinctive features here are the free-standing lamp on the front with the replica of the supply cable, adapted sockets and changes to the rain gutters. The positive overall impression is rounded off by the prototypical, clean paintwork and flawless printing.
