Novelty 2023: With the new design of the class E 17, PIKO consistently continues the series of the well-known old electric locomotives. The model reproduces the distinctive shapes of the prototype to scale. In order to perfectly reproduce the operating condition in Era IV, all changes to the prototype that were made in the course of modernisation were also taken into account in the model. In addition to the front windows, these also affected the routing of the roof lines and the design of the front end. Technically, the new PIKO model has its finger on the pulse of time and has silky-smooth driving characteristics, good tractive power and a light change installed as standard. Like the lighting in the driver"s cab and engine room, this is designed using the latest LED technology. The sound version is equipped ex works with a matching PIKO sound decoder incl. the largest possible loudspeaker.
