Novelty 2024: Moulded version of the class 117 as a DB E 17 in Era III. The model reproduces the striking shapes of the prototype true to scale. The locomotive is also impressive in its details, as it has delicate handrails and roof lines as well as free-standing sandboxes and springs. The specific features of the prototype were taken into account in the model realisation, including the front design and the three-part front windows. Technically, the PIKO model has its finger on the pulse of the times and has silky-smooth running characteristics, good tractive power and a light change fitted as standard. Like the lighting in the drivers cab and engine room, this is designed using the latest LED technology. The locomotive is equipped ex works with a matching PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker.
