Novelty 2022: The PIKO model is distinguished by the successful mold construction without disturbing mold parting edges and the coherent implementation of all relevant details of their prototype. The lighting is by means of LEDs. The cab lights and the front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be switched digitally with PluX22 decoders. The model, which has a die-cast zinc frame, has a five-pole motor with precisely balanced flywheel masses for excellent driving characteristics and two traction tires for high tractive forces, which are arranged diagonally on the inside axles of both bogies. A retrofit with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker is prepared on the clearly designed circuit board with PluX22 interface. Attachable dummy brake hoses are included with the model.
