Novelty 2023: Print variant of the Rh 1100 of the NS in Era IV. The PIKO Expert model of the Dutch State Railways (NS) class 1100 impresses with successful mould construction, harmonious roof curves and many applied parts, such as fine insulators and pantographs, free-standing grab rails and stairs. The model has the matching lamp moulds, sharply engraved bogie covers with realistic spring pack reproductions and faithful reproductions of the buffer planks. The lighting is done by LEDs. The cab and engine room lights as well as the front and rear lights that work depending on the direction of travel can be switched digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The heavy zinc die-cast frame and the engine with two large, precisely balanced flywheel masses provide excellent driving characteristics and high tractive forces. The model has a tidy circuit board with PluX22 interface and is prepared for an uncomplicated retrofit with sound decoder and large loudspeaker.
