Novelty 2024: Printed version of the class 140 in the BayernBahn version in Era VI. The model has digitally switchable cab lighting installed as standard. The five-pole motor ensures excellent running characteristics with two large flywheels and power pick-up via eight wheels. In addition to the die-cast zinc frame, the PIKO model has two traction tyres on the inside axles of both bogies in a diagonal arrangement to ensure high tractive power. The model has a PluX22 interface, white/red light change and close coupling kinematics. The PIKO E 40 is prepared for retrofitting with a sound decoder and large loudspeaker.
