Novelty 2023: Form variant of the class 103 as a short version of the DB AG in Era V. Even more than 50 years after their appearance, the legendary cult locomotives of the BR 103 belong to the visual highlights on German railway lines thanks to their timeless appearance and attract a lot of attention. The model is equally impressive with its heavy metal die-cast frame with finely detailed housing, finest paintwork and printing and filigree metal pantographs. The five-pole, ball-bearing motor with two flywheel masses provides excellent driving characteristics. The LED light change is white/red depending on the direction of travel and can be switched digitally with a PluX22 decoder just like the cab interior lighting. The model has a PluX22 digital interface according to NEM 658 and is prepared for easy retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker. Brake hoses for retrofitting are included.
