The Atlas HO Scale Signal Tower is based on typical North American interlocking towers with a brick first floor and wood frame second-floor tower cabin. Seen wherever complex trackwork, junctions or interlocking installations necessitated additional oversight of train movements, signal towers housed operators who threw switches and signals.
